About Ulur Wiji
Ulur Wiji is a social enterprise in the field of sustainable fashion that processes batik as a medium for storytelling.
Every motif is born from processes, values, and relationships—between humans, nature, and culture.
We believe that clothing should not only be beautiful to wear, but also be good for the person who makes it and the environment in which it comes.

Why Ulur Wiji
preserving culture
Indonesian textiles
Ulur Wiji is committed to preserving Indonesian textile culture. Currently, we are focusing on batik as a cultural heritage that must be preserved. In the future, we will also explore weaving, basting, and other traditional Indonesian textile techniques.
eco-friendly
Responsible Production
One of Ulur Wiji's core values is environmental friendliness. We are committed to using only natural fibers such as cotton, tencel, linen, and other biodegradable fabrics. Our premium products are colored using environmentally friendly natural dyes, while some editions use synthetic dyes managed by partners and the government.
Women's Empowerment
Artisans Collaboration
90% of the in-house artisans in Ulur Wiji are young people and marginalized women. In our village, we also continuously regenerate artisans by providing batik, sewing, and other skills training to village women through the Ulurwiji Berdaya Foundation.
